Most home security systems rely on detecting burglaries by sensing a door or window being opened or by motion in the house. A magnetic sensor only detects when the door or window opens and a motion sensor triggers only after they’ve entered the home. By installing the Enforcer 12VDC Hard Wired Glass Break Sensor your security system can instantly trigger by the sound of breaking glass. This sensor is ideal for rooms with many windows or where attaching a vibration sensor directly to the glass may not be possible. The hard wired sensor receives power from an alarm panel and contact can be wired with RF-shielded cable. It will monitor for the sound of breaking glass up to 45 feet away, depending on your installation. What really sets this apart from other similar products is the patented yellow turbulence LED that allows for fast and easy sensitivity adjustments without the need for an external test meter. The ability to fine tune the sensitivity adjustments virtually eliminates false alarms. You can use as many of these glass break sensors throughout your home and in conjunction with a security system as is necessary to provide the piece of mind you are looking for.

Use either Terminals 2 and 3 N.O. output or 2 and 1 for N.C. output, but not both
Close all doors and windows when the Enforcer 12VDC Hard Wired Glass Break Sensor is in use
Mount any optional memory buzzer, musical device or any sound generating equipments as far from the sensor as possible to reduce the detector's chance of accidental triggering, and reducing the chance of a thief finding it
