I have known Sensaphone for the last 20 years more or less, is a extraordinary piece of equipment, I have the old ones and they work beautiful, I have 4 of them. This time I am going to purchase the model 800, is sad does not have also the ethernet, but I guess I will have to conect the 800 and the 600 together; this time I want to use it for flood detections, toilets flood on all the bathrooms and kitchen and laundry water detections. Smarthome is a great place, I have purchase for the last 18 years, more or less all my gadgets here, congratulations to both keep it up...!!!

This arrived with one of the two internal batteries loose, inside the unit. I figured I could just unscrew the "box" , but the screws were too tight and I had to drill them out! I was to finally reinstall the loose battery and it seems to function as it should. It should be easier to disassemble, seeing that the batteries will require replacement from time to time. I taped the box closed with electical tape. The batteries should be in a more secure holder.

Hard to see how this item is a probe and how it could possbly sense water but I guess it is working.
