Essential Info
The IMS-1000 provides a low-cost solution to finding high-risk threats in your infrastructure. This web-based monitoring unit combines environmental monitoring, physical security, and network monitoring in one system and sends alerts when it detects undesirable conditions. Because the IMS-1000 works as a standalone unit with an internal backup battery, your infrastructure will always be monitored, even in the event of power outages. Connect up to eight external sensors to watch for high temperature, power failures, water on the floor, smoke, fire, etc. When potential dangers are detected, the IMS-1000 will send out an alarm to a programmed list of personnel.
Send ping requests to verify proper network connectivity and server operation. When no response is received from the ping request, an alarm is sent out to notify you immediately. Requests can be sent to servers for SMTP, POP, HTTP, FTP, or any other port service. Physical security can also be monitored by adding motion sensors, access switches, IP cameras or other devices that help monitor physical activity in the computer room. Monitored conditions can easily be captured with IP cameras and send to the appropriate contacts.
