Essential Info
Frighten away intruders with a motion-sensing system that even contacts you upon a breach. The Mini Alarm Home Security System comes with a battery-powered motion detector with a built-in 130-decibel alarm, but the motion sensor also connects to an auto-dialer that calls you instantly to alert you if motion is detected. The motion sensor and auto-dialer are powered by 4 AA and one 9-volt battery, respectively. Batteries are sold separately.

Mount the Mini Alarm motion sensor on a wall or stand it up in the area you want to monitor. Arming the Mini Alarm is easy, thanks to the included keychain remote. Once armed, the Mini Alarm uses a passive infrared (PIR) beam to detect movement up to 20 feet away. If triggered, the loud alarm will blare for 30 seconds before resetting automatically, ample time to incite would-be intruders to scatter! But you'll also receive an instant alert: When motion is detected, the Mini Alarm Home Security System's auto-dialer uses your existing telephone line to call you, continuing to call until the alert is canceled.
The Mini Alarm Home Security System plays a pre-recorded message for up to 1 minute to the person answering the call or to an answering machine. If the alarm isn't canceled, the Mini Alarm Home Security System will continue to call every 15 minutes or 2 hours (user specified) until someone calls back or the alarm is canceled.
Use the included remote for quick arming and disarming. With its 20-second exit delay and 4-second entry delay, you'll have ample time to enter and exit your home without setting off the alarm. If you have more than one family member who will be setting the system, additional keyfobs are sold separately.
