This battery-operated leak sensor will sound an alert the instant it detects a water leak. For maximum security when you are away from home, connect this sensor to a Deluxe Freeze Alarm (sold separately) so that you can receive alerts to your mobile or business phone. The Water Siren Plus comes equipped with normally open and normally closed contact outputs, which means you can integrate it into an existing hardwired security system. The Water Siren Plus is powered by a 9-volt battery (sold separately); a low-battery alert will notify you when its time to replace the battery.

90-Decibel Alarm

The Water Siren Plus sounds a 90-decibel audible alarm when water is detected by the sensor. The alarm will sound for up to 72 hours on a fully charged battery. The water-sensing device's high-impact plastic is designed to last for years.

Simple Installation

The most exciting part about the Water Siren Plus is the fact that it is very simple to install and comes with clear instructions. It has two small metal pads that must both be touching water to sound the alarm or siren. The water sensor may remain attached to the alarm device and may be simply set on the floor or detached using the included 6-foot (1.8m) wire and placed in harder-to-reach areas.

"Works great for my application. Use Normally closed connection in line with a humidistat that controlls whole house humidifier that tends to get gunked up and overflow. Now on overflow, alarm sounds and shuts off water supply to humitifier. Added a homemade 2nd sensor and put in parallel with one that comes with alarm.
