With the Amulet Devices RXT9000 Amulet Wireless Voice Activated Home Theater Remote Control you can finally enjoy your media instead of being lost inside it. With a simple voice command, you are in control. No need to remember where everything is - Amulet remembers for you. Just ask and it's instantly available. Record and watch TV, listen to your favorite music, and view DVDs, videos and photos, all using simple voice commands. Using the built-in IR learning feature, you can teach Amulet to control any of your other audio video equipment. Amulet understands most people's voices with no special training. For even better performance, you can run a simple five-minute training utility. With advanced speech recognition technology, and smart microphone activation, the Amulet Voice Remote delivers high quality voice control for your Media Player.
Please Note: A USB IR Receiver for Amulet Voice Activated Home Theater Remote Control (sold separately) is required if you want to use the Amulet Remote buttons to control your Microsoft Windows Media Center.

Since the Amulet is a fully functional Media Center remote, you can use it the traditional way by pressing buttons to select menu options, pause and skip through video, and adjust the volume. Lift it upright, however, and you activate the built-in Wireless Digital Audio link. Now the microphone logo lights red, and you can talk directly to your Media Center. Everything you say is transmitted to Amulet's software, where it is analyzed and recognized in real time. When you're finished talking, simply lower the remote and Amulet stops listening automatically.
Example Voice Commands
Just say "Watch Channel NBC" to change the TV channel to NBC. To view an episode of Heroes recorded last night, say "Watch Program Heroes".
Say "Play Artist U2" to start listening to your favorite U2 albums. Amulet recognizes all your music, and makes it available instantly -- and your CDs can stay safely on the shelf.
Wondering what song is currently playing? Ask "What song is that?" and Amulet will call out the song name.
How it Works?
You pick up the remote and speak a command such as "Play Artist Rolling Stones". The built-in microphone transmits your voice to the Amulet software in your Windows Media Center. The Amulet remote includes advanced position sensing technology, which means that Amulet only listens when you talk to it, not when you're chatting with friends or family. Amulet understands your commands and ignores your conversations.
