The AIMS PWRINV500012W 5000W Compact Modified Sine Wave Power Inverter converts DC to AC power with reliable and consistent wave output. Connect the inverter to a 12 Volt DC battery, and you'll have AC power for many applications such as keeping a lamp on during a brown-out or black-out or powering a portable DVD-player during long drives. This power inverter comes equipped with an on/off switch and four AC receptacles with protective rubber covers so you'll be able to power multiple appliances at once. It features short circuit, over temperature, and overload protection as well as auto reset for most fault conditions. Its aluminum case design provide optimal unit cooling and is prewired for a remote on/off switch.
