The Niles Audio MSU480 IR Repeater Main System with Four IR Inputs and Eight IR Outputs enables you to place your A/V components out of sight (behind cabinet doors, in the rear of a room, or in a different room) and still conveniently operate your equipment from your existing IR remote control from four locations Installed at the equipment location, the MSU480 receives the IR commands transmitted from your existing handheld remotes in that room. Additionally, the Niles Audio MSU480 provides a 12VDC output that can be triggered by the presence of status voltage on the 12VDC status input jack or via discrete infrared on and off commands. The commands are carried via a small category 5 cable to your A/V equipment in another room, and instantly repeated. In a typical system, the MSU480 provides for the connection for four remote room sensors (or keypads) and will control multiple audio/video components via its flasher connections. It features four sensor inputs, eight flasher outputs and 1 12VDC output. A power supply is included; IR sensor units, IR flashers and 12VDC power supply are sold separately.
