The Niles Audio LVW-1 Line-Level Stereo Volume Control is a wall-mounted attenuator. It connects between a line-level audio source and an amplifier, letting you adjust the line-level signal before it reaches your stereo amplifier. This solves the problem of a speaker volume control that can't handle the power of large amplifier or for controlling the volume on powere dspeakers. It has a nominal impedance of 100k ohms and The left and right channels are totally isolated, so the control will in no way contribute to any ground loops. The Niles Audio LVW-1 mounts in a single-gang electrical box (sold separately) with depth of approximately 3 inches. All connecters aer RCA female and connections should be made to the 'IN' and 'OUT' with RCA male cable adapters (sold separately). If you are using a single source to drive multiple power amplifiers the NILES LVW-1 will let you attenuate the line-level signal going into each amplifier.
