Just because a room is small doesn't mean it doesn't deserve full, rich audio. The 8-Inch Dual Voice Coil Ceiling Speaker is an in-ceiling speaker that features a voice coil woofer design that allows both channels of a stereo system to drive one cone. This, coupled with a dual tweeter system, allows this unit to operate as two speakers in one. The speaker is made of a water-resistant design and therefore can be used even in high-humidity areas, such as your bathroom or laundry room. Speaker wire is sold separately. Make your install easier with an Adjustable Speaker Hole Saw.

This in-ceiling speaker is designed to work within any interior-decorating scheme. It can be installed in virtually any location where flush mounting is possible, and its grille can be painted to match your décor using any type of interior or exterior paint. A paint shield is included to protect the speaker during the painting process.
This speaker is also available in a 6.5-inch version. Pairs of in-ceiling speakers are also available in 5.25-inch, 6.5-inch and 8-inch versions; the 6.5-inch speakers are also available with pivoting tweeter and adjustable tweeter output.
A Rough-In Kit for 8-inch In-Ceiling Speakers is available for new-construction or remodeled homes. This pair of frames attaches to ceiling joists to act as space-holders for your in-ceiling speakers for accurate placement in the ceiling.
