Essential Info
The LutronMaestro Countdown eco-timer Switch is a simple way to ensure a controlled light or fan is never left on for a long time, saving electricity. Replace your standard light or fan switch with the Maestro Countdown eco-timer Switch and once you have turned the switch on it will automatically turn the light or fan off after a set period of time. The timer has a 1 to 30 minute countdown range, without an always-on option, so you'll never inadvertently leave your fan or lights on. LED indicator lights illuminate once the switch is turned on and move lower every five minutes as the time winds down, letting you know how much time is approximately left, and a one-minute warning signals when lights or a fan are about to be turned off. You can also tap the rocker switch to adjust countdown time. Use one in the garage to keep the lights on as you get into your vehicle and turn it off automatically after you leave or save energy by using in closets, attics, basements, and other low-traffic areas. You can also use this with exhaust fans to reduce moisture, mold, and mildew growth. The Lutron Maestro Countdown eco-timer Switch has a very sleek, aesthetically pleasing design. Coordinate using Lutron Claro Wallplates, sold separately.

Tap Button Options
Tap once when unit is off - Controlled load turns ON and countdown timer begins. When time expires, load turns OFF.
Tap once when unit is on - Controlled load turns OFF and countdown timer resets.
Tap twice quickly - Controlled load turns on with 30 minute countdown timer. Press top right button to increase time. Press bottom right button to reduce time.
LEDs
Orange LEDs indicate timer duration or remaining time in minutes.
Bottom LED blinks slowly to indicate 1 minute of time remaining.
