Essential Info
This single-pole dimmer switch easily replaces any standard switch to allow you full control over the light's brightness level. Lights can be turned on and off in an instant by tapping the paddle. The discreet slider give you the most precise control over how bright or dim you'd like the lights to be. You can even program the light to default to a preferred lighting level when the paddle is used. Don't want to be blinded when you turn on the bathroom light in the middle of the night? By setting a fade-on time, the light can take anywhere from 0.5 to 5 seconds, giving your eyes more time to adjust. Hate walking across a dark room when you are ready to leave? Set a fade delay of 10 seconds and the light will slowly dim, giving you enough time to exit the room before the lights shut off. When the lights are completely off, a soft LED lets you know exactly where the switch is so you won't have to fumble for it. Create mood lighting by "locking in" the brightness level. Preset Options: Maestro dimmers provide two options for the preset light level on the dimmer: locked preset and unlocked preset. When programmed for a locked preset, the dimmer will turn on to the predetermined 'locked' level when the dimmer is turned on with a single tap of the tap button. When programmed for unlocked, the dimmer will turn on to the light level that it was adjusted to the previous time that the light was on.
Fade-On Time: Maestro dimmers allow users to adjust how quickly the lights fade up when the dimmer is turned on. These options include fade times from off to maximum light output in as fast as 0.5 seconds and as slow as 5 seconds. Quicker fade times may be more practical and slower fade times more elegant.
Fade-Off Time: Maestro dimmers allow users to adjust how quickly the lights fade down when the dimmer is turned off. These options include fade times from maximum light output to 'Off' as fast as 1.5 seconds and as slow as 15 seconds. Having the lights fade off slowly allows you to exit the room or cross to the bed while the lights are still on.
