The way it works is that the small teddy bear receiver is attached to a child's shoe, belt, sweatshirt or whatever else is likely to stay on them and the keychain transmitter stays with the parent. In the event the child wanders off or is separated simply press the push-button on the transmitter to trigger an 86-decibel alarm inside of the bear which should then make locating him or her quick and easy. This product was designed by parents for parents because there is no worse feeling than looking up and not seeing your child. The device comes with batteries pre-installed so that it is ready for use right out of the package and because kids play hard it is sturdily built and water resistant.
