This 4 channel 3G Security Digital Video Recorder from Camstar uses the latest in H.264 digital compression technology which gives it improved video streaming capabilities to your Smartphone or Tablet while reducing the space requirements for archiving recorded surveillance footage. Know what's happening at your home or business even when you're on vacation or view the DVR's video content from any internet browser, including Windows, Firefox, Safari, and more. The Camstar DVR includes a variety of special features like 4 separate audio and 4 video channels, PTZ camera control, bidirectional talk, and ample storage space on the included 500GB hard drive to access past events. The H.264 compression allows video to be stored on the drive in a fraction of the native size, enhancing your storage capacity. Setting up is easy: just plug in up to four cameras and connect to your Ethernet network.
Through the unit's intuitive GUI, you can easily configure the settings for each channel that you deem fit for your needs including, video resolution, frame rate, and video quality. A built-in VGA output allows you to access a picture-in-picture monitoring with a resolution up to 1024x768. The included remote control gives you complete control over all the DVR's functions: selecting between cameras, setting up motion detection, mute audio, play, rewind, fast forward, pause, and stop. You are also able to set up recording schedules and can choose to record only if an alarm is triggered. Each channel may have a different schedule. The schedules can be set up for each day of the week. You may also configure the DVR to send you an alert upon a trigger event.
