The Ladybug Climber from Children's Factory is a 5 piece climbing set for children 6 months and older that is playfully pictured to look like a ladybug. Each piece in the set connects to one another quickly and securely with hook and loop fasteners which also allow for it to be taken apart for easier storage. The Ladybug Climber is designed to help develop and improve a child's crawling, balancing and climbing skills all while having fun playing. This climber has a tough, tear-resistant vinyl cover that is easily cleaned with a solution of bleach/water and a urethane foam interior that meets California Fire Code requirements. The Ladybug Climber is CPSIA and ASTM certified but what exactly does that mean?
The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, or CPSIA, was authorized to require additional new testing requirements for children's products and has helped to change how product safety is regulated in the United States. New children's products must now comply with the additional safety rules and be CPSC tested accepted.
The American Society for Testing and Materials, or ASTM, is a global leader of international standards with roughly 12,000 in place today created to help improve product safety, quality and build consumer confidence.
