The Locomotion Taxi Tricycle from Children's Factory features a throwback design and is intended for ages 3+ with its seat and handlebars 13.75" and 24.5", respectively, off the ground. Tricycles have long been a building block for learning to ride a bicycle as they help develop the necessary motor skills in children not yet ready for the balance and coordination 2 wheels requires. With a Locomotion Taxi Tricycle children will learn the motor skills necessary to pedal, among others, while at the same time build up leg strength and receive valuable exercise all while having fun. The Taxi Tricycle brings an added element of fun with the addition of a second seat to allow 2 children to share the excitement of riding the tricycle. The backseat of the tricycle is simply for enjoying the ride and doesn't require any pedaling making it ideal for an older child to take their younger sibling for a spin. The Locomotion Taxi Tricycle has a red and black frame with 3 wheels each made of solid rubber. This product is CPSIA and ASTM certified.
