This review is from: DreamLine SHJC-1238386-01 Chrome Atlantica Jetted and Steam Shower: 6 Body Sprays & Handshower from the Atlantica Series - Less Roof & Steam Generator SHJC-1238386 I purchased the Dreamline SHJC-1238386 Atlantica Jetted & Steam Shower 2 years ago and have had consistent problems with it. It came with broken parts which my contractor did not see when he opened the box so he had to pay for replacements a few months later when he went to install it. There were several problems trying to install it and the plumber had to retrofit parts to make it work. It leaked all over the floor until he caulked it even though the instructions said not to. He had to return to caulk it 3 or 4 times until it finally stopped leaking. The steam button to turn the unit on only works about 1 in 4 times. Sometimes you hear the sound of the unit starting. Sometimes you do not hear anything but it still starts about 2 minutes later. Most times it does not start and you have to wait the 2 minutes and then do it again. If you press it again too quickly you might be turning it off so you need to wait to be sure it isn't starting. It does turn off everything with just a short single press but I've found that you need to start it by pressing it for a few seconds to get it to ever work. The drain has never worked properly so I used to have to remove the cover and strainer during the shower as I stood in 2 deep water. We had to cut parts of it away which allowed it to occasionally work but finally I also had to remove both the drain cover and strainer with a different plastic strainer to get it to stop holding water. But now it has gotten even worse. Even though I only use the hand held shower, I have cold water dripping down from the top shower. It is a slow drip but annoying when you are drying yourself and it continues to drip cold water on your hair. But the reason I am finally writing this review is the most annoying problem of all - MILDEW SMELL. I don't know where it is coming from but it is the shower. I spray the shower with a clean shower spray each time I use it and then run the room fan until it is dry. I don't see any mildew but I know it is there. I am ready to pull out the shower and replace it with a tiled shower keeping only the steam unit. THe reason I purchased this product was for the steam, the needle shower and the seat. THe needle shower hurts and is not usable, the seat is fine and the steam is underpowered but works. So all in all, this is a terrible unit. It is sold under different names but this one is the same manufacturer and item number that I purchased.
