The Hobbes Innovation Power Guard Rack Mount is designed to provide superior surge protection to your networking devices. With over 912 Joules (PA-R)/2240 Joules (PG-R/1U) of surge protection and a clamping voltage of 330V (UL 1449), you can rest assured that your network is safe from dangerous power surges and spikes.
In order to save rack space, the Power Guard Rack Mount was designed with special outlets for PG-R to reduce the size to 1U height, it also comes equipped with an excellent safety mechanism to prevent children from accidentally receiving an electronic shock.
All of the great features of the Power Guard Rack Mount are packed into a small efficient rack mount chassis with eight power plugs for devices. Two of these outlets can be turned on and off with the front power switch. The Power Guard is versatile enough to be used in just about any application, in conjunction with UPS or all alone.
