As many as four computers can be connected to the router via four 10/100Mbps AutoMDIX Ethernet ports and a built-in switch. It also includes a parallel port to share a printer on a home or office network (it even includes a print server application for Windows). You'll need a 10/100Mb Ethernet PC Card Adapter for each laptop and/or a 10/100Mb Ethernet PCI Card Adapter for each Desktop PC (cards sold separately).
The gateway includes a new, easy-to-use D-Link web-based graphical user interface (GUI) to configure the router. To keep prevent unwanted Internet intruders from accessing your private network, the gateway also serves as a feature-rich firewall. The system even includes an Ethernet cable to get you started.
