The Black & Decker SmartBoil Electric Tea Kettle has a full 360-degree swivel for left- or right-handed placement on the base. The large, translucent water window has easy-view marks to discern quickly the amount of water inside.
The concealed heating element resists scaling and cleans easily, and the electric tea kettle's removable filter catches mineral deposits, leaving only fresh-tasting water. A special safety feature is the internal thermostat that shuts the kettle off automatically if it boils dry.
Additional features include the kettle's textured grip handle and its hinged lid, which stays up for unattended filling.
