Essential Info
If you have more than one dog and want all of your pets to be able to take advantage of the features of the Dog Door Infrared Lock (sold separately), purchasing additional Infrared Key Collars will allow each dog access to your home without disturbing your schedule. When you order additional key collars, be sure to reference the color of your key, as other colors will not work on the lock.

The Infrared Key Collar transmits a digital coded infrared signal, which is decoded when the key comes within range of your pet door (approximately 24 inches), permitting only pets with keys of the same code to enter the house. Please note that the Infrared Key Collar works only with the Dog Door Infrared Lock.
The collar key is powered by the included CR2 lithium battery.
