Be assured that your dog has enough to drink at all times: The Automatic Dog Watering Bowl is a 7.5 quart stainless steel bowl that connects directly to your garden hose, which refills the bowl automatically when it gets low.

Note: Hose manufacturers do not recommend drinking from the hose because most hoses are connected to non-potable water. Some hoses have filters built in but it would be a good idea to check your hose filter before hooking it up to this water bowl.

    a GREAT idea, but... had many places that had leaks. Had to basically take it apart and use teflon tape to make leaks disappear.

    I like the stainless steel bowl but the plastic float guard is easily chewed on and the float arm is plastic would be better if it was metal, had to make our own float guard out of metal as well I have been using the little giant made out of galvanized bowl that rusts through in less than a year -- this do not hold up so trying stainless steel

    I really like the bowel but can't find a hose that doesn't leak or split after attaching it. Maybe I missed some instructions before I hooked the hoses up to the bowel but I can't get any to hold.

    Despite advice to the contrary, I plan to try to use this bowl inside. I'm having some physical problems and have not gotten to install it yet. But it looks good and operates outside as advertised. A bit larger diameter than I thought, but OK.

    Nice autofeeder, Arrived with blue cover cracked. Too much trouble to get replacement. Unit works OK. Hose attachment fitting needs to be the mate to the one supplied - maybe a choice before ordering.

    The bowl itself is excellent but the float/valve is flimsy. The float is cheaply made and held in the correct position by only a small plastic peice which snapped when I tightened the hose connection.
