Essential Info

Give your pet a fresh source of water to nourish their delicate bodies. Simply filling a bowl with water isn't enough because standing water does not circulate and becomes stagnant. The Catit Fresh & Clear Drinking Water Fountain for Cats offer a re-circulating flow of cool, purified and oxygenated water that is beneficial to your cat's health. Drinking more fresh water helps prevent crystal formation in normal bowls that can lead to urinary diseases. This product can be safely plugged into the nearest outlet with a 12v adapter. Water is quietly pumped through a carbon filter for purification and out through a fountain head at the top which then trickles water over a dome. The constant circulation of water means that more oxygen gets into the water and a cooling effect takes place. This model is compact and easy to move around, designed with small cats in mind. These beneficial features encourage your pet to drink more and makes the fountain an investment in the health of your pet.

The Catit Fresh & Clear Drinking Water Fountain for Cats features a multi-stage filtration system. A Foam filter collects debris food hair and sediment. The Activated Carbon filter also absorbs water impurities.

I was looking for a fountain for our kitty and this is wonderful we clean it and refill it about every four days the water is still cool like the ad said. It is easy to take apart and clean and the best thing is the cat is drinking more water she loves the fountain. It was purchased when on sale so the cost was low.

Although it took my kitty a few days to recognize this as a place for her drink water, now she loves it and shuns any other still bowls in the house! I have to add 1-2 cups of water about every 3 days. Cleaning the filter and mechanism on Fridays seems to be sufficient. It's so easy. We love it!

I love this product. It took my girl cat, Luna, 10 minutes to figure out the fountain was not a threat. She drank from it willingly. My boy cat, Oliver, was scared of it. He hid in the box it came in. He watched Luna drink from it and eventually tried it. Another plus is he drinks directly from it. He sticks his front paw in the water bowls on the floor. The fountain is high enough to encourage him to drink directly from it. Cleaning is a breeze. There aren't that many moving parts to clean. I would recommend this highly to all cat owners. The only thing I didn't agree with the manufacturer is removing other water bowls to encourage your cats to drink out of the fountain. I still put 1 bowl down. I used to put 4 bowls out.

Your cat may or may not like this fountain. One of our cats loves it the other does not. But if they like it, they seem to truly enjoy drinking from the fountain. I would recommend it, especially if you are gone for long periods during the day.

3 out of 5 of my cats took to this right away and have been drinking from it ever since, but the other two still prefer their older fountain, much to my dismay. This one is MUCH easier to take apart and clean. In minutes it's clean, dry and ready for use again, unlike my other water fountain. It runs quieter and there is less chance of the cats playing in the water and getting it all over the place, like one of my cats does! I'm happy, they're happy!!

We have used several different styles of recycling water fountains for our 7 cats but were always disappointed. One sprayed onto the floor. Another was always dirty with box litter from the cats putting their feet into the water, thus stopping up and ruining the filter. Catit is high enough with a bright red bobber to prevent two of the problems. The calm bubbling action does not spray onto the floor which takes care of the third nuisance. The cats use it more and it does not sound like a fishtank aerator. We are very happy all around on this purchase.

It's a fun fountain, and its sound is soothing. The cats were a little weary at first, but as soon as they got used to the sound and feel of flowing water they completely forgot about all their other bowls - and even the faucet, an old favorite! Now, beware: my friend had this same style of fountain but complained that it always leaked. I suspect her unit was faulty, because mine hasn't leaked at all. Though, when the cats lap at the water, they sometimes do splash a little water on the floor...

Haven't seen the cat use it yet - the cat likes the large dog one - likes licking the water that flows over the outside of it. But the cat is kept on a lower level while I'm out during the day - away from the 2 dogs so it would be nice if he'd use this one.
