I wish the manufacturer would make the old style filters. I find the newer version does not filter as well and causes the water to evaporate much more quickly, otherwise I love the fountains.

My Smarthome order was perfect! I would order from this company again. The Deluxe Fresh Flow Pet Fountain, however, leaves a bit to be desired. The cap on the reservoir doesn't go on or off as smoothly as I would expect. In the beginning it ran very quiet, now it's very noisy. I can't seem to find the problem. It does hold a good day's supply for my dog so that's a plus. His water is staying much cleaner also.

This time around, the product works as advertised so far. Since it does work, I'm actually very happy with it. Easy to put together, easy to clean, not easy to take apart though, and the little nubs that hold one part onto the next are cheap plastic and can easily break if you aren't a professional at pulling the pieces apart from each other. Still, since my intial purchase was defective, i was not charged shipping during the exchange, so that's good. i do wish i could have tried a different product, but they only allow you to exchange for the exact same item.

Price was very good.Product is good but for multiple animal families, it does need the hair etc. cleaned off the pump pretty regularly. I substituted a via aqua 80 fishtank pump and biobag fishtank filter and it seems to be running cleaner and with more water flow. Good product, easy to clean and works well.Is pretty quiet too-cats and dog love it.Good sturdy plastic too.

The concept is super! I thought the jumbo would be the right size for my three dogs but I'm finding I need to refill it everyday (my old water "bowl" could go two weeks). The pump gets noisy if the three chambers aren't filled to the exact right levels. Also, the white color is really kind of pink. But with all that said, I gave it 4 stars because it does provide clear, clean water for my dogs and the movement brings a refreshing touch. When it comes time to replace I'll go with a larger size and a different color.

I am pleased with this item, however, I thought it came with a cover in front of the inflow area, which would lessen the cleaning time. This is why I bought the JUMBO deluxe. Cindy

The only reason it's not a 5 is because 1 of my 3 cats seems to be afraid of the very low hum. It's a fantastic machine though. Works great for as long as a week!

Our dogs love this product. We had a smaller one that we couldn't keep filled because the dogs emptied it so frequently. Decided to invest in the larger model and haven't been sorry.

We have 4 doxies, they drink a lot. We also have a three story home. But after having to replace our ceiling tile twice from it overflowing to our downstairs ceiling and practically having to refinish a section on our wooden floor in the main area. This product isnt worth it. We even tried to put a large rectangle pan under it to give us a heads up while we were at work. The design on the smaller ones never gave us any trouble.
