Unfortunately, most working people can't get home to feed their pet at lunch and many will forget to put out breakfast in a rush to get out the door in the morning. You can change that by ensuring your pet is receiving regular amounts of food on a steady feeding schedule with the Lebistro Portion Control Automatic Pet Feeder. It is a programmable, automatic pet feeder that holds up to five pounds of dry pet food and dispenses portions from 1/4 cup to two cups at a time depending on the size of your pet. Additionally, you can schedule pet feedings up to three different times per day to maximize nourishment throughout the day. The Lebistro Portion Control Automatic Pet Feeder is powered by three D batteries, sold separately.

The electronic Lebistro Portion Control Automatic Pet Feeder is easily programmed. Set the times you want your pet's food dispensed and the amount they are to receive at each meal. The hopper holds five pounds of food, and it handles a full range of dry food sizes, shapes and types. Each meal serving is adjustable in 1/4 cup increments. Each meal can be set from 1/4 cup to two cups. Default meal servings are: breakfast at 6:00 a.m., lunch at 12:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m. All Meals are preset for 1/2 cups.

Loved the old model of Le bistro. Have 2 homes and needed another one. This model has a major flaw. As one meal is dispensed, the next meal falls into a lower chamber. My cat steals the entire next meal. When the chamber makes noise to let that meal out at the set time, there is no more food left. The cat hears the chamber open and runs to be fed, but gets nothing. Then he starts picking one piece at a time ouot of the chamber again. Poor design.

I bought 3 feeders for my 3 cats. Setup was easy, and they worked as advertised. One cat immediately figured out how to reach his paw up and jiggle extra food out of each feeder, so I installed a small plastic shield/baffle across the back of each feed dish to thwart his attempts for extra food. I have found that the stress level and constant begging for food has decreased substantially, now that we have been removed from the food loop. We still give occasional extra treats. The product is a good value for the price.

I was hesitant about this purchace initially, but I am very glad that I decided to try this product. It was easy to install and is easy to clean. It seems to be keeping cat-proof so far because my cats have not figured out how to get more food to drop, which is a blessing. The only complaint I have is that some food may drop in between meals because it is sensitive, but it hasn't been a significant problem.

This is a great product, as our cats no longer bother us to feed them, however, they have cleverly figured out how to get food out of the feeder in between scheduled feedings. It is also much easier to program than the smaller version we used to have.

It was easy to set up and program. But almost instantly my cat learned to get food out for himself by hitting it or sticking his paw up the spout. For the price I think it should be designed a lot better. It might be good for times when you're on vacation, but not for everyday use.

Easy to assemble, not hard at all to use once you go through the procedure the first time. Would like a smaller portion than 1/4 cup a serving and 4 meals a day. Overall, it is working well for our 2 cats.

it doesn't serve my cats serving size so i had to decrease it a bit. i've had some problems with it-it may have to be returned. i also didn't get the hang of setting it up that quickly. we'll have to see what happens during this week. but when it doesn't skip the am meal, one of my cat's is actually letting me sleep in the early am. he knows i don't control the feedings. this is why i purchased it.

This product works as advertised, however, it is very light-weight and a large cat or dog can easily move it around and knock it over. This was my experience after a weekend away. My cat tipped it over and pried off the lid. He then proceeded to gorge himself and subsequently vomit all over my clean floor. The feeder is now duct-taped shut and rope-tied to a post . . . still better and cheaper than using a boarding kennel, especially for a weekend.
