Received feeder but auger stopped working that same month Called Ergo sys 5/20 and they said they will be sending me a replacement base. I am having problem with water in that there is a leak but am not sure if I was able to fix.

Bought the identical system separately at another retailer before seeing it at Smarthome - pricing here is MUCH better $100 savings! However, I'm returning my units for poor quality. The concept and design is excellent. I love the functionality and customization of the timer which really wasn't difficult, just tedious. The plastic used is not strong enough for the purpose. My feeding spout broke in multiple places from stress of use my cats don't even paw at it. The water leaked all over from an unknown leak. A+ for design, F for workmanship and quality of materials.

THE FEEDING TIMER OUGHT TO HAVE A 10-MINUTE PUSH BUTTON ACTIVATION FOR QUICK FILLS. ALSO, THE TIMER ITSELF COULD BE SIMPLER FOR SETTING UP FEEDING TIMES. I'VE LEFT IT ON MANUAL FOR THIS INSTEAD, WHICH IS WHY A PUSH BUTTON QUICK TIMER WOULD BE USEFUL. AND, THE REDESIGNED CHUTE COVER WAS QUICKLY BROKEN OFF BY MY CATS. THE TESTING LAB SHOULD USE MY CATS TO TEST THESE ITEMS OUT! OTHER THAN THAT, THE FEEDER AND THE WATERING KIT WORK FINE.
