Simple to set-up and came into great use when we had a family emergency and had to leave town for a week came home cats were feed and happy. Recommend this product

We love the new autofeeder for our cat. Now, her food is spread out through the day. Mostly, it allows us to be gone over night without worry. It took me awhile to figure out the timer for the feeder. Mostly, how much food is dropped out in ten seconds. Then, I could calculate the whole day, giving our cat the total of food she eats daily. A chart of suggested feeding times would have really helped. The machine is very quiet. You only hear dry food falling into the bowl. I highly recommend this feeder.

I think the first one I got was defective because the replacement works better. I'm very happy with Smarthomes replacement policy which didn't cost me a thing. I will definitely look here first for innovative home needs.

This pet autofeeder is terrific! My son's cat was fed reliably every day while my son was on vacation. The timer is easy to set, the hopper holds plenty of food, and it worked with the three brands of food we tried. The feeder is well worth the price! I took the suggestion of one of the previous reviewers and put 20 lb. weights on either side of the feeder so Monster could not move the feeder around. Great product!

Works wonders.

Easy to set up and works great. My cat loves being fed a little every few hours instead of just twice a day, and I love not being begged constantly. Great for going away on short trips too.

This feeder is great, easy to setup and get started. Our cat loves it as he eats food 8 times a day now instead of 2 times. I just figured out how long for the timer to run so he would get the same amount of food spread out over 8 feedings as opposed to 2 feedings. No more of the cat waking us up at all hours begging to be fed. Every cat owner NEEDS one of these.

For us, this purchase turned out to be a waste of money because our cats can get their food out of the feeder by bumping into it. There's no mechanism to completely close the feeding tank off from the shute, which is what I was hoping for. So we're going back to the old way...feeding them ourselves.

We love our petfeeders! We had two problems - one was that our little 7lb kitty would gorge herself in the morning when we woke up to feed her. She would eat too fast (probably worried that her brother wouldn't let her have her share if she wasn't quick) and vomit it all back up. We bought two pet feeders to contain the morning food (T/D, preventative dental measures but they only get about 1/3c a day together) and two pet feeders to contain their regular food (Life's Abundance. Good quality food). They get feed T/D every two hours from 4AM - 10AM and Life's Abundance every 2.5 hours from 11AM - 2AM. Our second problem was that our cats would not eat the little bits of kibble. It would accumulate so that there'd be a ton of uneaten food. Well, huge waste! Especially since L's A is so hard to get in Hawaii. Now, there are no left over kibble since they eat all of the little bit they get every couple hours. We think that this will be a huge boon to their weight - one of our kitties is pretty big and the other is pretty small, so we were having difficulty regulating their food... but with being fed at regular intervals, they're getting less likely to gorge and eat too much at one time.
