The Bite Shield Cordless Mosquito Trap protects you from mosquitoes and other flying insects that bite. It is powered through the use of propane gas, sold separately, so no power cord or custom wiring installation is required. The Mosquito Trap is made out of a durable construction specifically designed for outdoor use only and includes wheels that make it mobile. Once the trap has been lit, it will operate for three to five weeks continuously, capturing mosquitoes on a single tank of propane depending on environmental conditions. It uses all of the proven mosquito attractants such as carbon dioxide, moisture, heat, blue light, and octenol to draw the annoying and harmful insects away from where your loved ones gather; powerful enough to cover a full acre of land. Now you can eliminate mosquitoes and control deadly viral diseases carried by mosquitoes and other flies without harmful pesticides. This product requires four C batteries for operation, sold separately. Important Note: The Bite Shield 1-Acre Cordless Mosquito Trap is fueled by propane gas, usually supplied via a propane tank (with a maximum capacity of 20 pounds), sold separately. Please refer to the Owner's Manual for suggested use and warnings.

Where to Place the Mosquito Trap
The placement of the Bite Shield 1-Acre Cordless Mosquito Trap will greatly affect the success of the unit's ability to capture mosquitoes. The largest amount of mosquitoes will be captured by positioning the Mosquito Trap 30' to 40' away from the location you want to protect, in the normal down-wind direction towards where mosquitoes are living. Research has demonstrated that placing the trap close to shrubs, bushes, or other vegetation (without strong odors) can help to increase mosquito capture.
Safety First
The Mosquito Trap is equipped with a Safety Tilt Switch, which automatically shuts off the gas flow if the unit is tilted more than 10° from horizontal ground.
