How it WorksThe Cat Genie Cat Box works like a cat box, acts like a toilet, and cleans like a modern washing appliance. The included Washable Granules™ satisfy your kitty's need to dig and cover. When the cat goes, the liquid drains away from these granules, allowing the waste to be flushed. Fresh water fills the basin, and the GenieHand™ scrubs and scours the cat box and granules. The cat-safe SaniSolution™ decontaminates the Granules and cat box of germs and odors. Liquefied waste and sudsy water get flushed down toilet or drain and safely out of the home, and a hot-air blower completely dries the Granules and cat box for kitty's comfort. While your cat gets used to the system, you can start the cleaning process manually behind a closed door, but the Cat Genie can also clean automatically on a schedule.
Easy SetupTo get your cat used to the Cat Genie, set his old litter box in the new location for a week or so. Be sure to set up the Cat Genie in your bathroom or laundry room, since it will need fresh water from a cold water supply line (T-adapters are included), a toilet or laundry drain pipe for cat waste removal, and an electrical outlet for power. All you'll need is a wrench or pliers to connect the system.
Replacement Accessories AvailableEach Sani-Solution Smart Cartridge is good for 60 washings, and each box of Cat Genie Washable Granules will last four to six months. Replacement Sani-Solution Smart Cartridges and replacement boxes of Cat Genie Washable Granules are sold separately. The Sani-Solution Smart Cartridges can also be purchased in a 3-pack or in a 6-pack.
Prevent Scattered Litter With Add-On AccessoriesAttach the GenieDome to your Cat Genie, and your cat will be able to enjoy privacy. This hooded dome also reduces scattered litter. Also available are Genie Side Walls for the reduction of scattered litter without the privacy of a Dome.
