The Scoop Free Automatic Litter Box uses disposable litter tray cartridges filled with Fresh Step® crystal litter, which stops odors significantly better than clay litter. Just slide the sanitary cartridge into the Scoop Free Automatic Litter Box, attach the waste cover, and plug the litter box in. A sensor starts a 20-minute countdown when your cat leaves the box, allowing the Fresh Step crystals to absorb the liquid, dry out solid waste, and lock in odors. Then the Scoop Free automatically rakes the waste into the covered trap.
The Scoop Free Automatic Litter Box is quiet and maintenance free. Just change the disposable litter cartridge every 20 to 30 days (10 to 15 days for two cats) and toss the old cartridge away without seeing, touching, or smelling messy waste. The litter box itself is roomy and comfortable for your cat. The rake has no sharp points, but it will stop automatically if it encounters an obstruction, resetting the countdown timer if the cat re-enters the litter box.
Add a hood to your Scoop Free Automatic Litter Box to give your cat privacy. The hood and replacement litter cartridges are sold separately. Stock up and be prepared! Scoop Free Replacement Litter Cartridges are available in a 3-pack and a 6-pack, as well.
