You decide where your dog can go. The system uses a wall-mount transmitter and a radio receiver, which is attached to a small, sleek and waterproof nylon collar strap. The transmitter sends a coded radio signal around the containment wire you install, controlling the distance from the wire your dog can venture before hearing a two-second warning tone. Should your dog try to leave his area, he will hear the warning tone and receive stimulation. After training, he will know to back into the safe part of the yard.
By moving forward or staying in the same place, the collar will deliver a continuous level of stimulation until he moves back into the yard. But your training doesn't need to be limited to your own property. The Basic Contain N Train System includes a handheld transmitter that lets you retain control of your dog's movements, even away from home. By using the handheld transmitter's "Good" and "Bad" buttons, you can reward or warn your dog's movements or actions. Use the include training flags to provide visual clues to the boundaries during training; it won't be long before your pet knows how far he can go. Special features are incorporated in your system so your dog cannot "run-through" the containment field without activating a strong stimulation.
