The system uses a wall-mount transmitter and a radio receiver, which is attached to a nylon collar strap. The transmitter sends a coded radio signal around the containment wire you install, controlling the distance from the wire your dog can venture before hearing a two-second warning tone. Should your dog try to leave his area, he will hear the warning tone and receive stimulation. After training, he will know to back into the safe part of the yard.

By moving forward or staying in the same place, the collar will deliver a continuous level of stimulation until he moves back into the yard. Use the include training flags to provide visual clues to the boundaries during training; it won't be long before your pet knows how far he can go. Special features are incorporated in your system so your dog cannot "run-through" the containment field without activating a strong stimulation.

A Rechargeable In-Ground Fence is also available.

"We have had our system since the spring of 2003. It has worked well for us. We followed the instruction on the training videos to acclimate our 2 dogs to their boundaries. One was a pup and the other was a young adult who we adopted about 3 mos. prior to getting the pup. She was a runner and we worked with her but she still liked to roam a bit. We decided to get the fence when she started training the new pup. Both dogs caught on quickly. We needed to replace 1 of the receiver boxes about a year after we installed the system and the service was great. Recently 6 years we had another receiver die and when I called to order a replacement the company still had all our history available which made the transaction a breeze.
