We use it for in-house barking when other dogs walk by our home. Both of our dogs respond fairly well, stopping after the first "beep". It does not stop barking when they are afraid, which is probably a good thing.

I have a very vocal black lab, so this has been pretty efficient at keeping her unnecessary woofing to a minimum. My oldest dog has learned that if he barks singly and spaced apart, he won't set it off and the middle dog's bark doesn't even set it off for some reason. It works better than I expected, but as with most things I'd like to see it with other efficiencies.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Bark Smart device solved all of my barking problems. I had an older rescue dog who was not used to a crate at all and developed some serious separation anxiety when I would go to work. He had begun to bark constantly, all day long and once I set up the Bark Smart the barking ceased completely. I highly recommend it.

It does not work dont waste your money buying this product. dogs are still barking even if you turn this product on...very unsatisfied by this product......

The housing of this unit melted in the Arizona sun. It was placed inside a bush, so It didnt even get direct sunlight. I live NE of Phoenix. Smarthome did send me a replacement unit. I have to figure out a new protection for it to prevent this from happening again. I am not really sure if it worked to deter the barking. My neighbor uses collars on the dogs from time to time. It is hard to tell.

The Bark Smart had very easy setup and definately kept our dogs from barking. We have an Aussie and a Beagleman and both would almost immediately stop barking if anything minor set them off. They would sometimes ignore the device in cases where 'strangers' were in sight and they were in protect mode, but where we live, that is rare. I do have to say that they only seem to respond to the device in it's audible setting, which humans can hear too, but even so, one bark, one fairly quite high pitched tone for 3-4 seconds, then silence from both the dogs and the device, and I am happy... By the way, Smart Home shipped the product promptly and everything was in great order when it arrived. Seems like a good company that I would purchase from again... Hope this helps...

First one sent didn't work. But another one was automatically sent and that one is working. The next door neighbor's dog is barking less. Yea!

it was fine the first day but now it dose,nt stop my dog from barking .do you have any suggestion that may work the dog only barks at nite and i mean all nite an it is disturbing my neighbors .thank you.

Seems to work fine, however the unit itself is quite a bit larger than I expected, which makes it a difficult fit in the window... where I need to use it.
