The Yard Barrier is designed to train your dog or cat to stay out of the restricted areas in a way that is convenient for the owners. A receiver and ultrasonic collar provide a wireless, effective, and humane way to train your pet. Simply place the receiver in the off limits area. The receiver should be mounted to a stake or fence, at least two feet off the ground. Program the range with a quick turn of a knob. Then, place the collar around your pet's neck and let the training begin. Once your pet gets too close to the receiver, it will emit a powerful sonic blast and your pet will quickly learn to stay away from the area to eliminate the annoying sound. No shocks are used at all so you can be sure you aren't causing your furry loved one any pain. The sonic blast can only be triggered by the collar specifically designed for the system, so you will still have all the access you need without setting off the system. Expand the system with extra collars for additional pets or include extra receivers to widen the scope of the restricted areas.

The electronic collar requires the use of a CR2430 lithium ion battery (included) while the receiver requires one 9-Volt battery (sold separately).
