Essential Info
While this Fish Mate pond filtration system is low-profile and small on size, it is big on performance. Utilizing UV and biological filtration, this pond filter uses three stages of filtration for optimal water quality and healthier fish. When green water comes in contact with the UV bulb, the algae will clump together and start to die off. After the water passes through the sponge pad, it comes in contact with the SUPRA Biological Filter Medium for the removal of ammonia.
UV bulbs are positioned above the water to eliminate the need for quartz tube replacement or problems associated with frost damage or scaling. Periodic filter foam rinsing and annual bulb & foam replacement is the only maintenance required.
