The Fish Mate Gravity UV Pond Filter utilizes the power of UV to keep your ponds sparkling and algae free. When green water comes in contact with the UV bulb, the algae will clump together and start to die off. After the water passes through the UV chamber, it comes in contact with the SUPRA Biological Filter Medium. With a surface area of 100 times the size of conventional media, SUPRA provides optimum ammonia and nitrite control. The pond filter features a flip-up lid for easy cleaning and is colored green to blend in with natural surroundings.
