Quick shipper....product as advertized

The device didn't work. The one was always audible even when in ultrasonic mode. I returned the device for a replacement. The return process was easy enough but the replacement device had the same problem and I suspect that it was someone elses previous return. The box was scratched and the labling decals were not attached. Thumbs down on this one.

Horrible. When I put the battery in, the unit squealed. It's supposed to be an ultrasonic sound that humans cannot hear, but that's not the case. It doesn't seem to work when dogs bark either. The battery light is on, but the light that indicates it's activated by a dog doesn't light up. However, it squeals when jiggled. So, the dogs bark, I manually shake it to activate it. After all that, it doesn't seem to bother the dogs. Bottom line.....I'm sorry I spent the money, and would be interested in returning it for a full refund, including shipping.

This product is poorly designed and difficult to use successfully. The operating instructions are written in Engish, not English. Beyond that they are very faint and IMPOSSIBLE to read. I'd call this product a true stinker and a complete ripoff. I grew so disgusted I tossed mine in the trash. I've still got a barking dog problem. Too bad your product is worthless.

Very good product and good service from Smarthome. Paid a little amount of tax. Products works well but I needed a DC plug. Overall satisfied. NIRMAL MAURITIUS

Recieved quickly with no issues. Placed unit ontop of fence post within 8 feet of where the neighbors dog barks between our houses making sure there were no obstuctions. Did'nt see any reduction in the amount of barking. The switch from audible to silent was backwards. In audible mode I did a hand held test and the unit didnot turn on until it was within 3 feet of the barking dog. The dog did seem to turn and go away once the unit had turned on. So if your willing to hold this in the dogs face at random intervals throught the night I would recommend it. Otherwise im not very satisfied.

The first unit received was defective - confirmed with a call the the actual importer (Viatek Consumer Products Group, 2115 Chapman Rd Ste 149, Chattanooga, TN 37421). The audio output was clearly audible no matter what the setting of the "audible/ultrasonic" switch. This unit was returned to SmartHome for replacement. A very helpful customer service representative helped expedite the replacement after it seemed to be "stuck" for a couple of weeks. The replacement unit worked only slightly better - again, the audio output was certainly not in the ultrasonic range with the switch set to that position (and my hearing is NOT that good). In addition, the unit would only trigger when set to the most sensitive position, then would not shut off. So, I cannot speak to the actual effectiveness of the product since problems with both units rendered them useless (and I opted not to try a third). Customer service from both SmartHome (once I contacted the right person) and from Viatek was quite good, but I certainly cannot recommend this product.

I am in the process of returning the product because it dose not do what it was inteended to do. I give it no stars. /very dissatisfied

Not at all happy with product. After approximately 2 weeks unit appears to have had no effect on dogs barking regardless of settings or location. I have selcted 1 star, ony because the option of none is not a choice.
