Had trouble figuring out how to set the timer at first, but the thing does work. And what a relief to be able to make sure my kitty is fed on time even if i'm late.

I don’t know if I should be pissed or proud. My kitty figured this gizmo out in 15 minutes, managed to pry the door open over the next trough down the line, gobbled up all the food in that tray, and the other two as well. Since I bought two of the C50s, one for him and one for his less clever friend, he gobbled up 6 meals between bedtime and the next morning. Maybe it will work for your cat. Mine’s too smart and too strong! We're sending ours back.

I found I had a bit of a learning curve with the pet feeders. I am trying to synchronize two feeders, and the timers are difficult to be precise with. The function of the feeders is great, and unavailable anywhere else. My only suggestion would be to have markers on the side of the timer dial that would line up with the time arrow. The construction of the feeders is great. One of my cats spent the first week determnined to break into the covered food, and the feeder stood up to him with no problem. The feeders have solved two major problems for me - regulated food intake when I can't be home at mealtime, and cats howling in the morning while waiting for me to feed them. I am very happy with this product!

Both seem well made, and the cats seem to be getting used to them. A goal was for them to stop bugging us around when they thought mealtime was. So far, so good.

Works extremely well for my 2 cats. Saves me from filling up their food bowls every day! Thanks for the friendly customer service - highly recommended.
