The Slingbox connects to your analog cable line and distributes the A/V signal to your LAN ( wired or wireless router sold separately). Plus, it connects directly to your cable outlet so that you don’t even need a TV at home to turn any computer or phone into a portable TV. Easy SetupSetting up the Slingbox Tuner is simple. Connect the incoming cable line to the Slingbox and the Slingbox to the Internet. If you only have one cable line in your house, you can use the included cable splitter to connect both your TV and your Slingbox Tuner. Plug in the power adapter and load the SlingPlayer software on your PC. A setup wizard walks you through the setup process, automatically configuring the Slingbox for the device it's connected to. If you don't have an Ethernet outlet right next to your television, you can add a pair of SlingLink Internet Adapters to send the signal through your electrical wires to location a more convenient to your router.
Turn Your Laptop Into a TVConnect your laptop to your local network, and you'll be able to access your home cable feed for local viewing as well as local control. Plus, you don’t have to worry about any complex setup, expensive rewiring, or monthly fees.
Unlimited PC Software InstallationInstall the SlingPlayer software on any number of PCs to watch and control your connected device on your computer. The Slingbox works seamlessly with your existing home theater setup and PC technologies.
