Got a great deal from Smarthome and the Alarms arrived very soon after ordering. I mounted them easily with the included double sided tape, and we were in business. Worked perfectly for my purpose !

I am disappointed that it is taking this long for the backorder to arrive. I ordered the items on May 23rd and now it is June 23rd. Because I work for the federal government, FEMA, those door alarms are important; however, the price on these products are reasonable to purchase for the public.

This door alarm only has 2 functions. Chime or Alarm. Please be aware that you cannot turn it off. So if you have a time when you are going to be going in and out the door will chime each time. And it is VERY loud.

I got this door alarm for my two year old that escape while we were asleep since then, never had any problem. GE is very loud just on the chime. Never used the alarm part yet! Great product

I purchased this based on the reviews. I also needed something not too expensive but something practical that would work for my parents since my father has dementia. I've just installed this product and I think it will work for our use; however, I do have a concern of resetting the alarm when I leave home for work at 5am. If anyone has any tips, please share.

Excellent product and very easy to install. Unit was installed in a matter of minutes. Both the chime and alarm are quite loud, but adjustable. The alarm is comparable, maybe even louder than a smoke alarm. Sure to wake even a heavy sleeper.
