The GE 3-Way Dimmer Kit enables wireless control of on/off and dim functions of hard-wired incandescent lighting, and includes a primary and auxiliary switch for control of one light from two locations. The dimmer switches replace your current light switches, use your existing wiring, and provide Z-Wave wireless and manual control of overhead lighting. The primary dimmer switch includes an LED indicator light to easily locate the switch in a dark room.

The auxiliary switch is not Z-Wave enabled and does not directly control electrical loads. It must be used with a compatible Z-Wave enabled, 3-wire switch in three-way installations where a light is controlled from 2 locations such as the top and bottom of a staircase. This switch communicates with the Z-Wave enabled switch, providing manual On/Off/Dim control of the connected lighting (through the Z-Wave enabled switch) and synchronization of the lighting status (On/Off/Dim level) between the two switches.

Important Note:Not for use with fluorescent lights or motors.
