How often do you find your self scrambling for extra light around your house? How much safer would you feel knowing these areas were now among the most brilliantly illuminated in your home. This wonderfully built 18-inch, halogen fixture uses three 20-Watt, G8 halogen bulbs. Powered by any standard 120VAC outlet each light bar includes a "Line Cord" for plugging into the wall, a "Link Cable", as well as all of the necessary hardware needed for mounting this fixture. So slim and so compact, this Under Cabinet Fixture is a cinch to hide out of sight, if you do not wish to have anything but what you are looking for visible. An integral light level switch features 3, user selectable, brightness levels (High / Medium / Low). Set a particular mood with dimmed lighting or be sure your entire work area is illuminated with the highest brightness level. The button used for selecting this lighting level will only control the three bulbs in that particular fixture; even when connected to other fixtures using the Link Cord. Additional Linkable UCF can be purchased separately for increasing the coverage of your lighting system. Linking to other Halogen UCF Linkable bar-lights is as easy as plugging in a power cable. No new wiring or expensive tools are required for installation. Using the "Link Cable," which comes with each fixture, the user can easily connect or "Daisy-Chain" up to 8 of these halogen fixtures together. Because every fixture is being powered from one wall outlet, you will not waste space. This is a great benefit, reserving your in-wall receptacles for use with other electronics and/or appliances. You will not have to waste 8 individual sockets or install new ones. Installing 8 new fixtures has no effect on powering other devices in the home. Other than the one receptacel used, outlet availability will virtually be the same as it was before these fixtures were installed. The General Electric 10233 will match any decor or theme you may have and is intended for use indoors. Mount these fixtures under cabinets, or under shelving, and illuminate areas of the home like kitchens, closets, garages or anywhere else you can imagine. If you are adding new wires to install one or more of these lighting fixtures, consider the Wire Outlet Conversion Box to provide a convenient switch for your Under Cabinet Lighting, wherever you would like one to be.

Other suitable applications can include, display lighting for small business', illuminating artwork. Extra lighting in your garage, sheds or barns, bathrooms, bookcases, entertainment centers, equipment racks, study areas, basements, work shops, and so much more. This simple lighting solution can be mounted to cabinets and other surfaces constructed of a material at least 1/4" thick. Do not use this product with plastic surfaces.
Important Note: When changing or replacing the halogen bulb, re-lamp the fixtures with 120VAC, 20-Watt, halogen bulbs featuring a G8 base. This fixture should never be used with a bulb which has a wattage greater than 20-Watts. It is ok to use a bulb with a lesser wattage. The halogen bulb does get very hot when in use. The housing was specialy constructed to withstand this heat. Pay attention to all warnings provided in the installation guide. Make sure you are within 5-feet of an outlet before mounting the fixture but Do Not connect the fixture to power during installation. Be certain that all flammables, accelerants, and objects that can combust or melt are at least 12" away from the fixture.
