The Sony TV Replacement Remote performs most functions, station auto-programming, and picture settings, including picture size for wide-screen formats. Use this "miracle remote" to access and adjust surround sound, PIP, alternate languages and sleep timers.

I was totally impressed with this remote. It didn't have to be "synched" in any way with my tv. I just put the batteries in and it worked like a charm. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I originally bought a universal remote that did not control the auto program function for the tv channels. Hence the reason for ordering this remote. When ordering the remote, I was expecting it to look exactly like the one pictured on the website. Unfortunately, it did not. The color of the remote and lay-out of the buttons was different. However, the Auto Program feature on the remote works fine. I was able to program the channels on my tv.
