Boost the sound of your whole-house audio system by adding a powered amplifier. The Elevate 2-Source 4-Zone Distributed Audio System (sold separately) lets you listen to soft jazz with your guests in the living room and dining area while your kids rock out upstairs, and you won't have the wasted expense of multiple stereos. The Breathe whole-house audio system delivers 30 watts of power to each zone, but for larger rooms or outdoor zones, add this Pulse 200-Watt Amplifier to your system for 100 watts of clean, rich sound to two channels with features typically found in much more expensive and complex audio amplifiers. Voltage Trigger Turns Amp On EffortlesslyPerfectly suited for great rooms, open floor plans, or outdoors, the Pulse 200-Watt Amplifier offers the flexibility of dynamic power control. Using the amp's voltage trigger feature, you'll never need to turn it on separately. This powered amplifier will be triggered to turn on and off automatically when the connected audio source equipment is turned on and off. You'll appreciate the effortless access to powered sound.
Wiring and ConnectionsThe Pulse 200-Watt Amplifier connects to the audio inputs and outputs available on most audio source equipment, so whether you use the Breathe Audio whole-house distribution system or another stereo component, you won't need to purchase extra cables to get started. For speaker out, the Pulse 200-Watt Amplifier's modular plug accepts up to 14-gauge, two or four-conductor speaker wire; however, 16-gauge wire is recommended. The voltage trigger gets its audio signal from an external source via a 3.5mm mini jack.
Adding SpeakersWhen setting up your Breathe Audio whole-house audio system, you'll want to be sure you're connected to the proper speakers for each zone. By installing a pair of in-wall or in-ceiling speakers, you'll be assured of quality sound that won't interfere with your décor. Outdoor speakers are also available. These weatherproof rock speakers, available in granite and sandstone, are ideal if you'll be using a patio as one of your zones, and the Pulse 200-Watt Amplifier will ensure that the sound won't be lost in the great outdoors.
