Essential Info
Don't let someone sneak up on your home unannounced. This security camera looks like a floodlight, which it is, but it also contains a covert camera and it does not require AC power or a video cable. Mount this solar-powered camera/floodlight where it can keep an eye on things but ensure that the solar panel is placed in an area where it will receive maximum sunlight. Lastly, connect the video receiver to a video monitor and you're finished with the installation; there's even a DVR built into the receiver, complete with a 2GB SD card (expandable up to 32GB) to record events. The sun will charge its internal lithium polymer battery and provide up to 14 hours of continuous illumination, though power is conserved and only used when needed as a result of the built-in photcell and motion sensors. The receiver has a built-in quad screen system, allowing you to connect up to 3 more cameras to monitor your entire property. The lamp housings are made of cast aluminum to act as heat sinks for the LEDs to assure durability and ensure maximum brightness. The LEDs are from CREE, the best available, and emit 600 lumens (the same as a 60 watt incandescent bulb).
This product is also available without the DVR function and merely as a Solar Security Light.
