The EkeyUSA Net NM-RB-CR 200 Template Standard Fingerprint Scanner with Crestron Interface and RFID is a great solution for access control. No more fumbling with keys or forgetting access codes because your finger is the key. Assign up to 200 fingerprints, or templates, to the scanner to allow access. The scanner reads those fingerprints and converts them to a binary code which can not be converted back. This ensures that no one but the person with that fingerprint can gain access. Once the scanner authorizes the fingerprint, it triggers a relay closure. This relay can be connected to a door strike, magnetic lock, or even your security system. Ekey Net is an advanced physical fingerprint access control system that consists of one or more Ekey Net systems networked together and controlled over a network (LAN/VPN WAN) by a client/server computer program. A computer is needed for enrollment, management, startup, and performing certain functions. The Crestron Interface allows you to connect the Fingerprint Scanner to a Crestron Interface relay to interface with your Crestron Interface system. The RFID gives access with an RFID Key-Ring or Card (each sold separately) as well as through the fingerprint scanner. The Ekey Net software is included but a license is required. Many Licenses are available based on the number of scanners you will need and if you would prefer the light or the standard license. View the product pages below for the differences and more info. Ekey Net is an advanced physical fingerprint access solution that consists of one or more terminals networked together and controlled over a network (LAN/VPN WAN) by client/server computer program. A computer is needed for enrollment, management, startup, and performing certain functions. The software is used to define in the central database all the access and authorization rights such as who has access to a specific door or group of doors and for specific time periods. Ekey Net can report various activity information in real-time using a log CSV file, web server log, or UDP interface. Each control panel is equipped with several relay outputs. Each enrolled finger can then be assigned one of several functions. So the same user can perform different access functions by using different fingers to activate different relays.
