The EkeyUSA 100428 Standard Fingerprint Scanner Round Cover with LED is made from stainless steel and is used for status indication. It includes three different colored LEDs (yellow, green, & red). These LEDs can be used to give the end-user visual indication that reflects the status of the system that is being monitored. The LEDs are not powered or controlled by the Ekey system but are rated up to 12 VDC so you can connect them to your security system or any other system to use as a status indicator when you arm the system.
