Picked this phone up as part of a Uniden set. Figured it would be really nice for use around our pool. Shortly after using it for the first time we noticed that the handset volume would fade out until you could barely hear those you're talking with. The speaker option on the handset works just fine but, if you switch back to the handset you won't be able to hear. If you replace the phone on the dock for a few minutes it will work fine again for a short time. All these issues existed without ever placing the phone in water.
