This is a great low-cost home or small business phone system loaded with features for those who do not need more than two incoming lines and seven extensions. Works with most standard touchtone and rotary phones (not included). All programming is done through the standard phones. Proprietary phones are not required.

This home/business phone system has a built-in auto attendant feature that provides callers with a menu you record (Press 1 for "Bob," Press 2 for "Judi," etc.) and then transfers callers to desired extensions. Or, you can disable this function and simply have callers ring through to some or all of the extensions. Incoming fax calls are automatically routed to the fax machine extension when it hears the standard fax beep tones, which can also be used for a regular phone if a fax machine is not present. A built-in 110V AC outlet can be turned ON/OFF remotely by phone to control lights or other appliances with up to 5 amp load.
Call restriction prevents numbers with certain prefixes from being dialed and a serial port allows optional connection to a PC to generate call reports. (Optional program required.)
Other features include call transfer, call hold, call waiting, conference calling, music on hold (requires external music source, not included) and do not disturb.
An optional Two-Hour Battery Back-up Pack fits inside this home/business phone system. During momentary power outages, the battery pack will keep the phone system's programmed settings and voice greeting from being erased. Easily installed from outside the case. No soldering or circuit board modifications required. For longer power outages, a small computer UPS is recommended.
