I bought this for my mom who tends to forget her medicine and it has just been wonderful. She says it is just like I was there reminding her because I record the reminders and it plays back in my voice. It was easy to set up and has a little card to help you remember what key words to say to get it to do what you want it to do. It is a great buy and I would recommend it for anyone.

The voice activated feature is very easy to use and recognizes what I'm saying. The sound quality of the reminders I've recorded is poor and sometimes it's hard to record a message that is easy to understand when it's played back. When a recorded reminder plays, it plays the same reminder over and over and over with very little time in between, so it becomes more annoying than helpful. The recorded reminders can be set to play on a specific day of the week, today or everyday. It would be nice to have an option of just weekdays or just the weekend. The alarm can be set up to announce the current time, which is a nice feature. Overall I like the clock, I just wish the recorded reminders worked a little bit better.

I would not normally take the time to write one of these reviews, but this product is so great I had to take the time. I have one of these that wakes me and reminds me of things during the day so I don't get distracted and miss anything. The voice control is very good. I can just say Alarm Off or Reminder Off from across the room to disable the alarms or reminders. Setting the alarm time and other features by voice required no training and it is 90% accurate I would estimate. If you are considering this purchase my recommendation is to DO IT. I have never been more satisfied with a clock. The only thing that could make it better is spending less.
